House League Registration Information
REGISTRATION:
Register online at www.restonsoccer.com and select the REGISTRATION option on the top of the page. You can pay online with a credit card or select the option to mail in a check…your registration is not accepted until payment is received.
Or send the completed and signed registration form available on the Reston Soccer website under the FORMS option to:

Enclose a check or money order payable to "RSA" (please, NO CASH). Register only one player per form. A completed, signed form accompanied by correct payment must be received before a player is considered registered. Incomplete forms (forms not signed, forms not accompanied by correct payment) will be returned for correction.
FEES:
Registration fees for all House Programs are as follows: $90 for the first player in a family; $75 for the second player, $60 for the third player, and $0 for additional players. There is an additional $25 fee for each player that does not reside in Fairfax County. (This helps offset Fairfax County’s increase in field use fees for non-county players.) On Time Registration will close March 1, 2010. Forms postmarked after Mar. 1 must be accompanied with a non refundable $25 late fee (per family). Please note that fees are not tax deductible. If you have both travel and house players in your family playing for Reston teams, contact RSA for fee information.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
No player will be denied participation in Reston Soccer due to a legitimate financial hardship. If a hardship does exist, send a letter or email requesting a waiver of fees with the registration form. Also, please provide the Fairfax County Youth Sports Scholarship Form, completed with valid signatures and documentation. DONATIONS: Reston Soccer Association "RSA" is a non-profit organization. Please consider a donation toward equipment, facility, scholarships or other club improvements. Add this amount to your total amount due.
ELIGIBILITY: Children born after 7/31/90 and before 8/1/06 are eligible to play soccer this season. Players are not permitted to play in an age group younger than their correct age group, according to the table at the right.
AGE GROUPS: Players are grouped by date of birth as indicated in the table to the right. Players in the Me and My Ball (M&MB) and House leagues will play only other Reston teams. Players in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL) will play SFL teams from other communities.
Girls may choose to play on an ALL GIRL team starting with U8. Please circle your choice on the registration form in the appropriate place.
Children participating in the Me and My Ball program must be accompanied by an adult or sibling over the age of 13.
EQUIPMENT: Parents are responsible for buying uniforms. Players may use a current uniform from a previous season if it fits and is in good condition. The player shirts may be purchased at Sterling Soccer on Rt. 7 in Sterling Clock tower Shopping Center for approximately $17. In addition, players will need blue soccer socks, black shorts, shin guards and soccer cleats. Every player is strongly encouraged to have his or her own soccer ball. Ages U5-U8 use ball size #3, U9-U12 use #4, U13-U19 use #5.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Reston Soccer Association depends on volunteers to make the program successful. We always need coaches, referees, age-group commissioners, team organizers, field assistants, and RSA Board Members.
TRAVEL TEAMS: Travel players register with their travel teams ONLINE using a different form, A $125 registration fee will be collected from each player. The fee for the second travel player in a family is $110; for the third travel player the fee is $95: and for additional travel players the fee is $0.
SEASON DATES: The Spring 2010 Soccer season begins on April 10 with games and ends on June 5. Tournaments will be scheduled for additional weekend in June 12/13. No games are scheduled on holiday weekends aside from weather makeup games.
